Teen & Adult Learn To Skate At Fergus Skating Club

Fergus Skating Club introduces a NEW learn to skate program for adults and teens!

This is a group style program for teens and adults looking to learn to skate or improve their skating skills. This class is open to all teens and adults no matter skill level in a fun and encouraging environment. Skaters will roate with our Canskate group circuit allowing them to work with different coaches and fundamentals including balance, agility, and control. Skaters will be assisted by our friendly program assistants and coaches.

All participants must:

  • Wear a proper fitting CSA approved hockey helmet. THIS IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT.

  • wear warm clothing which allows ease of movement. 

  • wear warm mittens or gloves. THIS IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT.

  • have proper fitting skates. Hockey or figure skates are both allowed which have strong support.

Payment Options:

Pay directly online with a credit card: American Express, MasterCard or Visa.  Payment can be set-up as full payment.  

Additional Fees 

Skate Canada membership fee of $59.00 (non-refundable) 
Skate Canada Safe Sport Fee: $5.00 is included in the $59 fee above 

Skate Membership year - September 1 - August 31

When you sign up for a skating program at a Skate Canada member-club you automatically become a member of the national organization.

There are many advantages that go with a Skate Canada membership such as accident insurance, access to Skate Canada programs and materials, the opportunity to participate in interclub and invitational competitions and special member prices on merchandise from the on-line store
