Assessments Star 1-5

Coaches will assess the Starskaters at these levels when they feel the skater is ready. Assessments will take place during regular skating sessions. 

Skate Canada Assessment Fees ($12.00) must be collected for each assessment and forwarded with the results to Skate Canada for record keeping. Skaters can look up their Skate Canada records using their membership number. 

Fergus Starskate High Assessment Days

STAR 5-GOLD 

An official judge from Skate Canada will be arranged for these test days. Because of this, higher test fees for these days will be collected from skaters to cover the costs.

2025 / 2026 STAR 5-Gold Assessment Days:

November - FERGUS FSC - Date to be determined

January - Orangeville FSC

March - Fergus FSC Monday March 30 -  9 am to 11

Spring Test day -  Fergus FSC Thursday May 14 - 9 am 

 

Test Day reminders...

1. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your warm-up time so that you can be ready. Test day times do vary - we need you there and ready to go.
2. Please bring your test day fee to the test day and look for the volunteer who will be collecting payment, as well as fees for dance partner if applicable.
3. Please remain quiet in the warm viewing area while other skaters are testing – sound does travel to the ice.  If you would like to chat, please use the arena lobby.
4. No individuals other than the judge, volunteers, coaches, the skater testing or the skater next on the list, is permitted in the ice surface area .
