Parent and Tot Program

Parents are required to have some skating experience and able to support their children. This class provides the fundamental skills of skating including falling down/getting back up, stopping, jumping, gliding, forward and backward skating etc. The first 5 to 10 minutes of this class will be an off-ice/warm-up session for the skaters to become comfortable in their skates and to learn some of the crucial techniques in basic skating skills before reaching the ice. PARENTS must be able to skate while supporting their child; if their skating is not to Skate Canada requirements, a helmet must be worn.
