Skate Canada Freelance Professional Coach
Patty is the Canskate and Starskate Coordinator for the Fergus Skating Club and the PA program instructor, as well as coaching all levels of skating.
Coaching Credentials Over 25 years as a Skate Canada Coach NCCP Theory, Technical Level -3, NCCP Practical Dance Level - 2
Patty has coached many Competitive Singles Skaters from Pre-Juvenile all the way to the Senior level. She has coached numerous Skate Canada Gold Test medalists in the disciplines of Skills, Dance & Freeskate, and Interpretive. Many of Patty's former students have gone on to be Professional Coaches, University level Competitors, Skate Canada Evaluators and Ice Show performers.
Philosophy - Patty encourages skaters to learn life skills through the sport of skating. A well-trained skater is a healthy and fit athlete. Goal setting, time management, sportsmanship and fun are equally as important as skill development for success in sport and life.
